Often putting on a show is simply hard work. Here some members gather to run through just what it is they need to do and who has been allocated what task. Although sometimes a pain this is necessary as the public are often at close quarters and need to be protected. An accident in any form can dampen a show and cause future events to be so restricted as to lose their appeal. Such talks are of immense value when all of the vehicles are moving off together and when there are pyrotechnics and weapons involved.
